He drives.

Things I have found disappointing in my life … not being chosen for the Wobble Bobble ad, being an only child, fireworks, the Dead Sea, Briefcase Bomb 2 going straight to DVD, being sent to Vanuatu as a decoy when Kane went to the clinic in Tahiti, the day Kane married Mimi, Kane turning down that thriller because Mimi had an eating disorder.

I’m not actually driving this car. They tow it on a trailer. Just lots of shots of the inside of the car, shots of my hands on the wheel, shots of the back of my head, me looking forward, that sort of stuff.

The town’s filled up. The guests in the guesthouse have become guests in the film, and customers in the diner don’t eat the food anymore, they just wait for the take. Linda is a waitress, but the other waitress is the caterer. And Linda’s running the guesthouse now. I saw her behind the counter taking payments and giving keys.

Linda keeps talking about the reveal. I just nod. I never read the script. Kane and Linda both make pencil marks all over the script. I don’t get time to make marks on scripts.

Shot of the briefcase. Don’t know what’s in it.

Files? Some sort of information.

Briefcase Bomb was an action romance with a real bomb. This case hasn’t got a bomb inside. They want to get a lot of shots going from Kane to the case. For tension. Like a Stephen King film.

I’m the hands that touch the briefcase. Check this out.

It’s important to be very still.

I’m much stiller than Kane.

[To his crew] Yep.

He relaxes.
